Glass Beads
Glass beads are made when molten glass is rolled around a metal mandrel and then shaped, cooled and tempered. This metal mandrel forms the bead hole or threading size. Just remember that the width of your cord or wire should be at least a half millimeter larger than the hole size of your bead. Transform your beads into hanging earrings and pendants by first threading them onto eye pins or head pins.
